PHoton-ELectron EXperiment

Searching for hidden photons of cold dark matter with

a multi-cathode counter

The experiment is aimed to register very specific process: the conversion of HPs into electron, emitted from the surface of a metallic cathode. In this case the effect is proportional to the surface of the cathode of the counter while the target is free electrons of a degenerate electron gas of a metal. By this time the strong limitations are obtained in volume detectors but the target in this case are valent electrons of atoms, so obviously these are very different elementary processes. By this time our detector is unique in this quality to be sensitive to the interaction of HPs with free electrons of a degenerate electron gas of a metal.
